This is our back yard. the water almost came up and over the porch.
This is the front yard. the river coming around the front of the house is smaller then the one coming around the back yard but the video does not show it that well.
Now you know what its like to have a real rain storm!! lol
we got 3" in less than an hour.

I love rain storms. I remember the time I visited when I was younger and I was so scared. Now I wish I could see more storms like that.
Wow, that is one rain storm. I love that I could hear it too. I love the sound of rain. May favorite sound of rain is on my trailer when I'm camping and it makes kind of a pinging sound. I can snuggle up to a window and watch the rain come down.
Another thing I love to do when it rains is read a good book and sip on hot chocolate--do you drink hot chocolate in Florida, or is it too warm. I think of rain as being cool.

Wow that is crazy! Whenever I think we have a big rain storm here Aaron says you haven't seen a Florida rain storm, he loved them, I will have to show him this post I'm sure it will make him miss Florida!
